Arch Financial Integration (AFI) Provides the Edge

The quality of risk mitigation and management decisions is reliant on sound financial and operational reporting. AFI, a division of Arch, through its interfaces to best of breed ERP systems enables User’s access to financial information required for Financial and Operation Reporting purposes.  The interface allows    for automated, seamless flow of operational retail data from Arch Retail (in-store) to the ERP system.  Currently Sage Evolution is Arch’s  preferred ERP solution, while also providing integration services to Syspro, Great Plans and SAP.  Interfaces are in development to Xero and SAP Business 1. These Integration services include usage of AFI’s proprietary middleware, data monitoring- and correction services due to any middleware malfunction. AFI employs qualified financial system integrators, with thorough knowledge of Arch Retail, ERP systems, accounting and transaction flows required for accurate reporting. 

AFI’s solution caters for:

• Unlimited remote sites from which data is integrated to Head Office.
• Posts:

– Sales & tender transactions as daily summaries to prevent general ledger clogging;

– VAT is either posted to one control account (traditional) or  two accounts for input and output VAT;

– Debtor and Creditor transactions individually using Arch document numbering as reference;

– Stock adjustments, cost variations, Mark-Up-Mark-Down entries and stock finalisation variances;

– Multi-currency in reporting & forex currency at spot rate from Arch.

Demand for AFI’s service offering  has taken off exponentially and is currently operational in over 200 sites in Southern Africa (RSA, Namibia, Botswana, Angola, Zambia & Zimbabwe). We find that the integration system reduces risk, errors and time by uploading strategic numbers straight from Arch into our accounting software.
