Arch now integrated to EFT Corp in Zimbabwe

Today’s shoppers increasingly look for a more convenient and efficient shopping experience. As such, the traditional till point has evolved from sales and tendering to a customer service platform that allows retailers to remain responsive to changing customer needs.
Arch Retail integrates with best-of-breed complementary software solutions at the till point to provide Value Added Services (VAS), thus enhancing customer experience. A recent integration is to Electronic Funds Technology Corporation (EFT Corp), a payment and VAS switching provider in Zimbabwe.

EFT Corp includes EcoCash which is a prominent payment/wallet solution in Zimbabwe. It allows for normal purchasing, purchase with cashback and auto-reversals due to time-outs and other error scenarios. The solution has been successfully implemented at the first Arch store in Zimbabwe, namely Bonsa Spar. Arch is currently the integrated retail management solution of choice in 29 Zimbabwean stores. The integration will add significant value as a payment platform in these and future stores.
