In an exciting development, the KZN-based Take n Pay Group recently implemented Arch in both their Amanzimtoti and Chatsworth stores. Amanzimtoti (15 POS), the smaller of the two, went live first in January, followed by Chatsworth (34 POS) in February.
Take n Pay had a long-standing relationship with their previous POS vendor. They decided to move to Arch to facilitate further growth in the business. Arch Enterprise (AE) is also to be implemented shortly in support of continued growth.
The switch-over posed data conversion challenges. A special thank you to Data Services and Spinnaker Technical for delivering a quality product under tight time constraints.
The new android-version of Arch Mobile (AM) is also fully implemented in the stores. AM facilitates on-the-floor management of various store processes.
The two stores are retail outlets offering loyal customers groceries as well as the convenience of the following service departments: Butchery, Bakery, Deli, Fruit & Veg and Ocean Fresh (fresh seafood counter). Integrated value-adds at the till include virtual airtime and EFT.
