Trans Africa Roll-out Complete

Spinnaker Software has over time established Arch Retail Systems as a major retail management brand in Botswana. We continue to see strong growth there and at present have 91 stores (479 POS) operational on Arch.

A recent addition to the Arch family is the Trans Africa Group (17 stores with 141 POS). The first and largest of the stores (Trans Africa Gaborone) went live on Arch mid-July last year. The roll-out of the stores has now been completed with Hukuntsi Trans Cash & Carry, the last store to be ‘Arched’ recently.

In addition to Arch Retail (in-store solution), Arch Enterprise (AE) our HO merchandise management solution, was implemented as part of the roll-out to enhance centralised management control and overall operational efficiency. AE will play an important role going forward in managing Trans’ master data, merchandising and business intelligence. Furthermore, Arch Financial Integration (AFI), facilitating the seamless flow of operational retail data from Arch Retail (in-store) to Sage Evolution, completes the suite of Arch products to ensure optimal management control.
